Navigate the WAF360 Dashboard

The WAF360 Dashboard is your central hub for monitoring traffic, managing security rules, and configuring your WAF360 setup. This guide walks you through the main sections and how to navigate them.

After logging in, you'll see the left sidebar with the following sections:

  • Organizations — Manage your organizations, users, and settings
  • Projects — View and configure your WAF360 projects
  • Decision Rules — Create advanced conditional rules for traffic handling
  • Block Rules — Manage IP, User Agent, GEO, and Query String block/allow lists
  • SSO — Configure SAML single sign-on

The top-right corner provides access to your Account Settings, including profile, security, billing, and activity logs.

Key Concepts

Organizations

Organizations are the top-level container in WAF360. Each organization can have multiple projects and users. Users are assigned roles that control their level of access.

Projects

Projects represent the websites or APIs you want to protect. Each project operates in one of two modes:

  • Gateway Mode — For server-side protection where WAF360 acts as a gateway/proxy
  • Tag Mode — For client-side protection using a JavaScript tag on your website

Decision Rules

Decision rules let you define complex conditional logic to automatically block, allow, or monitor traffic based on request attributes like IP, User Agent, GEO location, and more.

Block/Allow Rules

Block rules provide a simple way to immediately block or allow traffic by IP address, User Agent, Query String, or Country Code.

Quick Start

  1. Create an Organization — Go to Organizations and create your first org
  2. Create a Project — Add a project under your organization, choosing Gateway or Tag mode
  3. Install WAF360 — Follow the installation instructions on your project's Installation tab
  4. Monitor Traffic — Use the Insights and Events tabs to analyze your traffic
  5. Set Up Rules — Create block rules or decision rules to automate traffic handling
