Managing Projects

Create and configure WAF360 projects

Projects represent the websites or APIs you want to protect with WAF360. Each project belongs to an organization and operates in one of two modes.

Project Modes

Gateway Mode

Gateway Mode is designed for server-side protection. WAF360 acts as a gateway or proxy, inspecting traffic before it reaches your backend. This mode provides:

  • Full HTTP status code monitoring (2xx, 3xx, 4xx, 5xx)
  • Request latency tracking (P50, P90, Average)
  • Host and URL analytics
  • Service and ASN identification

Tag Mode

Tag Mode uses a JavaScript tag embedded on your website for client-side traffic analysis. This mode provides:

  • Page view tracking
  • Browser bot detection features (headless browser detection, bot click patterns, etc.)
  • User interaction metrics (mouse moves, clicks, scroll, touch, keyboard)
  • Device and browser details
  • Referral analytics
  • User Profiles view for tracking tagged visitors

Creating a Project

  2. Click New Project
  3. Configure the project:

Each project has the following tabs:
